中国油画院陈列馆作为中国油画院的学术窗口和经典展示平台，以中国著名油画家的经典作品为陈列常态，便于中国油画的学术研究和艺术探索，定期举办国内外大师的研究性展览，现已实施“中国油画院陈列馆大师研究计划”。一方面，为中国油画院的专业教学提供学习的典范；另一方面，为公众和艺术家提供一个观摩、学习、展示交流的公共空间，拓展公众的艺术视野。
Recognizing the classical works of China’s most famous oil painters as its display standard, and serving as the window and classical platform for the Academy, the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting Display Gallery engages in the study and exploration of Chinese oil painting and regularly organizes study exhibits of domestic and foreign great masters based on the implemented “Chinese Academy of Oil Painting Display Gallery Great Masters Study Plan”. On the one hand, this offers a model for the professional education of the Academy; on the other hand, this provides a space for observation, learning and exchange to the public as well as artists, allowing for the former to expand their artistic horizon.
